The Role
The System integration engineer supports the business by developing technical requirements, driving design decisions, identifying technical risks and abatements, and is critical to guiding the program in meeting the certification / qualification timeline committed to the business.

 

The Engineer provides system integration by providing propulsion system integration of turbomachinery family of products with the customers and supporting engineering teams around the Packages, Controls, Performance and related elements.

 

You will also be the face of QuEST to your customers.  Through listening to customer challenges, and building on your previous experiences, you will find creative approaches that will solve their most difficult engineering problems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The system integration engineer key responsibilities include:

  • Lead cross functional teams in the execution of the gas turbine programs
  • Lead and coordinates product and systems requirements, specifications and flow down.
  • manages validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing.
  • In charge for identifying product requirements for the module and components with subcontractors and partners teams.
  • Performs component and product integration.
  • Lead interface between components and execution organizations.
  • In charge of the overall product configuration and configuration control system.
  • Knowledge and familiar with Flow & Instrumentation Diagram.
  • Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline.

 

Required Skills (Technical Competency):
We’re excited to talk to you if your qualifications meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering position
  • Systems/Module level design, integration, thinking
  • Mentoring/coaching experience
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident required
  •  

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
  • Independence / work without direct supervision
  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
  • Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
  • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Full compensation package is based on candidate experience and certifications

Pay Ranges
$85,000$105,000 USD
