Roles & Responsibilities:
-Own the design of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components
-Capture system requirements from the customer and incorporate into the component design
-Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers
-Work with suppliers in developing components; keeping cost, performance, life, system requirements, and manufacturability in mind
-Design and stack-up of the component interfaces
-Direct interface with other internal/external engineering groups
-Apply technical principles, theories, and concepts to solve a wide range of challenging engineering problems

As an employee at an engineering services provider, be willing to try different services and accept new responsibilities as projects end and new projects begin

Required Skills (Technical Competency):
-Minimum BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace engineering from an accredited university
-Ability to easily interpret technical drawings with understanding of GD&T
-Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work under time constraints, maintain composure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
-Ability to interact with employees/managers at all levels with strong oral and written communication skills
-Work well in a cross-functional, team-oriented, and collaborative environment
-Are meticulously detail oriented
-US Citizen or US Person able to work Export controlled work

Desired Skills:
-2-4 years of experience in design engineering of electrical components
-Experience with CAD tools such as NX and Teamcenter

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
-Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
-Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
-Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
-Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
-Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
-Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
-Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or US Person

Full compensation package is based on candidate experience and certifications

Pay Ranges
$70,000$80,000 USD
